Who May Apply: (CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, RI and VT)

We will accept proposals from K-12 educators, students, and community organizations working with youth to plan and implement a "green" service-learning project. Applicants who have attended a KIDS Consortium Summer Institute (3-5 days) will have top priority for grant funding.

The Dara Jeanne Kaufman Fund

The Dara J. Kaufman Fund mini-grant applications for service-learning are available Spring and Fall for projects in the New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont)

This initiative, inspired by Dara Kaufman’s life, is meant to encourage young people in New England to take action to make their schools and communities caring, supportive and environmentally sustainable places. The fund will support K-12 service-learning projects that focus on issues that were important to Dara.
