Student SummitThe Student Summit is a two-day annual event held in March at the University of Southern Maine Gorham Campus. Each year, over 300 students and educators from across New England gather to share their service-learning projects and community impacts with each other, learn about issues in their communities, and develop new leadership and project skills. This event is open to KIDS grantees. A highlight of the Summit is that a group of students partner with KIDS Consortium to organize and implement the event as a year-long service-learning project. Through the planning process, the students learn valuable life-long academic, civic and leadership skills. Thank you to all who helped make the 2008 Summit a great success!
